I could talk for weeks about the sheer nepotistic corrupt bullshit in the early years, when an Ayn Rand roleplaying group (not kidding, they were called “Taggart Transdimensional”) got unique advantages from the devs that no one else could access all in the name of “roleplaying.” They conjured up fictional characters that gave those advantages (the very first and exclusive t2 mining laser blueprint originals) to their Randroid favorites, and over and over again changed the rules to fit their favorites, year after year.
The dystopian corruption of the setting was coming from inside the development company.

I haven’t played that game in over a decade. In fact I quit around the “Tyrannus” expansion.
The “you mad bro” was a reference to that era and the piracy, ganking, goon swarm wars that were part of the game.
That’s dubious, but okay. It set off a “totally not fan and totally doesn’t care” stan that stanned very hard for CCP in this thread all the same.
I’m not going to play “no real Scotsman”. I loved that game, my best IRL friends are all from that game but we all moved on like most do.
I would just guess you had a different experience and that’s why my comment felt hostile. We memed hard and frequented the forums and failheapchallenge.
