A one-year-old is dead after being left in a hot car for hours while his mother underwent a cosmetic procedure, police said.
Maya Hernandez, 20, is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and child cruelty after allegedly leaving her two sons, Amillio Gutierrez, 1, and his two-year-old brother, locked inside a parked car as temperatures soared to 101 degrees in Bakersfield, California on June 29.
Some people are just stupid. And stupidity very often correlates with the volume of the artificial lips.
Killing a baby is well beyond fucking stupid. This is fucked up on many levels
It wasn’t deliberate killing (at least I think so…). Just a stupidity of an enormous scale.

Neglect, she knew apparently it wasn’t a good idea, yet she still did it. Even just locking her kids in the car for 2.5 hours unattended should be considered neglect, no matter the temperature.
