Requiring log in to view tweets makes the platform utterly useless as a forward facing communication tool for organisations and corporations. I’d wager that it probably makes it actively illegal for many government orgs to even use for official communication, as I suspect that many countries have laws about official government communications needing to be freely and publicly accessible.
