minus-square@delirious_owllink1•1 month agoStarting my own instance would just make me legally vulnerable because the tools for moderation dont exist. I will likely jump to sublinks when available, which was created because of these issues.

You can start your own instance, and you could even develop a compatible, federated protocol like kbin. That’s the beauty of the fediverse.
