It’s a bug that persists through loading screens, so I guess she’s stuck with the new cut.

That only happened to my own character so far. But she likes to lose her lower arms, legs and her left eye.
She doesn’t look half bad with that haircut.
Turns out if you have flawless facial structure you can pull off any haircut
Did you try to rebuild shaders? If you are using steam.
This just happens sometimes. It can also remove her lower arms, lower legs, or her left eye. At least that are the three that I keep seeing.
