My life honestly has no meaning
I would love for a quiet foggy Saturday night all by myself! I suppose the grass is always greener.
Same! My first emotion upon seeing this was “oh god, I would love that kind of solitude”…
You eventually get sick of it, plus it’s cold and when you MUST to go outside to do stuff is a pain in the ass
Have you considered wearing pants?
Why cant it be just living?
No one’s life has inherent meaning friend. You have to give it meaning, even if it is only meaningful to you.
This looks cozy to me.
That is a nice photo, without you I would not have seen it, it has meaning.
Keep taking photos, it is nice to have and look back and see either your good memories, or sometimes you need bad memories to see how far you have come.
Are your shoes outside on a balcony? Don’t they get wet? If it fogs where you are, I assume condensation would form on the ground outside most nights.
Its what i can’t understand about this photo. Surely those shoes would be getting damp.
mahn fog is the best weather that existsssss. its like a cloud has come down and decided to visit!
I love your photo. You should take more photos, even if you don’t share them with anyone! I hope the comments here help you feel a tiny bit of meaning.
Honestly, we’re surrounded by all this messaging that life should be grand and rich and full of all this important stuff and relationships in order to have meaning. I prefer the approach to life suggested by Kurt Vonnegut:
I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don’t let anybody tell you different.
I wish I could see fog almost every day and night. It is just so…can I say it? Cozy!
There’s a whole world out there!
That isn’t for me
Familiar
Why isn’t it for you?
But it has beauty, which might be better.
You should read some Sartre
I’ve the same philosophy.
What I found helpful is, I can get into a flow of busy work that can last weeks. Schedule stuff, deadlines, etc.
That’s a few weeks without disgust.
Those lights could be UFO
Nihilism is a common and valid solution to the four big life crisis points. Enjoy. :)
