he deserves the team around him that he wants. It’s not up to us to determine that.

It absolutely is up to the senate to determine that. The constitution says so.

I was about to say, didn’t we write in a confirmation vote by the Senate as, effectively, a sanity check? To prevent the President from stuffing his Cabinet with toadies and yes-men?

      The constitution says so.

They have never really cared about the Constitution any more than they have about this country.

This is the same dipshit that blocked hundreds of military promotions because he didn’t like the Pentagon’s pro-access abortion policy. Even Mitch McConnell pushed back on him then.

Tommy Tuberville is slept on as a candite for the “Most harmful senator” award. He’s such a bold-faced boot licker and hasn’t done a single thing to uphold his oath of office

Potatotown protecting child rapists again. It’s the only thing he’s good at.

Edit: I was getting him mixed up with Jim Jordan. I guess the GOP in general just enjoys protecting pedos.

The party of morality line has always been a front for protecting pedophiles. This dates back prior to Trump with church abuse scandals. But has grown more blatant since 2016, when they put a sexual predator in the White House .

No, I mean there will definitely be GOP Senators who vote against Trump’s picks, if for no other reason that they have 3 votes to spare, and some will get Hall Passes. Thats how the Senate works. Their careers will not be ruined, by Tuberville or anyone else.

Threatening political retribution against senators for voting against their party is generally not illegal in the USA.
