Jesus was not a real person. Jesus is as real as Noah and his ark. As Lot and his horny daughters. It’s all a collection of oral tales that have been told in many cultures. There may have been “Jesus Like” figures. And, many may have even taken on his name. It’s a common name.

It becomes so obvious when you read how many similar tales exist: Horus, Mithras, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Dionysus, Osiris, Heracles, Tammuz, Attis.

In 2000 years, expect Capital America to have a following of zealots.

      From the first paragraph…

Today scholars agree that a Jewish man named Jesus of Nazareth did exist in the Herodian Kingdom of Judea and the subsequent Herodian tetrarchy in the 1st century AD, upon whose life and teachings Christianity was later constructed,[note 1] but a distinction is made by scholars between ‘the Jesus of history’ and ‘the Christ of faith’.

I’m happy “scholars agree.” But that isn’t evidence. That’s a bunch of dudes who love Jesus finding a way to prove his actual existence.

If you look hard enough, you can find evidence to prove whatever you want, as long as that isn’t disproven with science.
