Openvibe’s clever app that integrates multiple open social networks including Bluesky, Mastodon, Nostr, and Threads, just got a boost toward its future development. The company on Tuesday announced that it has received outside investment of $800,000 in a round led by Czech Founders VC, which includes backing from WordPress.com and Tumblr parent company, Automattic, as well as Tensor Ventures.
Automattic? As in Matt Mullenweg? Yeah. Fuck that guy. Wouldn’t touch this with a 10 foot pole.
No thanks.
I’m no longer using apps or websites that have VC investors, sorry.
Disappointing to hear . Only app I know of with concept of linking all your fediverse accounts into unified client + it being only way I can access bluesky on android bcus neither (official app|browser client) let’s me access the site (can login just fine on windows , but am currently PCless)
There should at least be open source app like it
