I guess American “jelly” is closest to jam for us in the UK, and cheese and jam is a classic combination, so I could see it working with the addition of peanut butter too.
I’ve had peanut butter + cheese on a burger and it was great. Adding a bit of jelly in there would probably work well. Not so sure about just slapping cheese into a PB&J though
Haven’t ever tried the burger with peanut butter, but one of these days.
I am planning trying the pb, j and cheese this weekend. Thinking a unique cheese like manchego might be the key.
