I believe this is actually a quote from Robert Reich during his tenure as the Secretary of Labour

Mostly false, especially if the rich guy started out poor and became rich with hard work. The pay is just shifted into the future, as, for example, startuppers live for years like poor rats and then pay out more later, while normal workers just get paid all the time. All assuming, this also counts in “millionaires”…

Nonsense. Those ‘startuppers’ usually have rich parents who subsidize the business.

Trump loves to tell the story about how he was underwater for millions and clawed his way back to the top. While he was in debt he still lived in a mansion.

Luigi was a one-off. Right now the 0.01% can get high security Uber in NYC and it’s expanding to other cities.

I feel like that won’t really help. We need actual reforms which will get politicians to listen to the people. Maybe something like ranked choice voting so we can vote out the centrists.

Criminal courts they can escape. Politicians on their side. The only thing they now fear is death. So let’s make sure that’s their end if they want to screw over the population

That’s the point: nobody in positions of power are willing to even CONSIDER the kind of reforms needed, since they profit from the current system and can count on most people meekly accepting the rotten status quo.

Maybe a few more dead billionaires will make them stop taking the public’s acquiescence for granted…
