Very disappointed.

Once you have a certain amount of money you’re no longer “gay” or “straight” in the sense that you don’t belong in any of these communities anymore. Tim Cook can fuck right off, he’s not welcome in any queer spaces that I run. US policies don’t affect Tim, they never will, he’s excepted himself from the entire human race at this point, along with all his billionaire peers.

I miss Steve Jobs. I don’t care if he was an asshole; assholes, get things done, and we’re not afraid to say the quiet part loud when we see something that sucks and needs to be fixed.

      Very true.

I remember Oprah mentioning once that one of her neighbors was complaining about ‘black people’ or something like that, and she was like, ‘um…’ and the guy no joke said to her ‘but you’re not black!’

For them, ‘rich’ is indeed a totally different species, one they view as superior.

(And yes, I know Oprah is an ass, but I still found that conversation she related to be amusing.)

I keep forgetting when you get that rich your biggest problems are how to create technocratic city states and living forever through unholy blood rituals.

Yeah, once you pass the hectomillionaire threshold, I think you just become “rich”, because large swathes of systemic problems stop being problems.
