I have the exact opposite problem, where I will literally forget to eat. Then I’ll wonder why I feel so exhausted / weak / anxious, and realize it’s 8 PM and I only had a bowl of cereal and one glass of water all day.
I am like you as well. Food is not nearly as interesting as everything else at all.
Are you medicated for ADHD?
I don’t have the “H” so my experience is going to be a little different, but without medication I think about food all the time. On medication, I’m focused on work/life and forget about eating.
I wonder if this is a thing that comes from combining ADHD and autism, because i’ve heard that people with autism are generally quite food motivated.
I’m pretty certain i have both and i absolutely tend to look to food whenever i’m bored, it’s such an easy way to score a dopamine hit.
I have both problems.
