One thing that I’ve been experiencing as I unfold my own story is understanding the fact that the shit my parents did to me was because of the shit their parents did to them, which was because of the shit their parents did to them.
And it’s like, I really just want one fucking asshole who had a perfect life and who fucked everything up for everybody else to blame.
Maybe you don’t need to blame anybody, but simply try to forgive and work on being your best self?
Well, that is what I need to do, but what I want to do is point at one fucker and be like, “It’s your fault! Burn in hell!”
And then everybody around me claps and the heavens open up and a divine light shines upon me and I don’t know I’m given like a magical sword or something like that’s what I want

Amazing
They fuck you up, your mum and dad They may not mean to, but they do They fill you with the faults they had And add some extra - just for you But they were fucked up in their turn By fools in old-style hats and coats Who half the time were soppy-stern And half at one another's throats Man hands on misery to man It deepens like a coastal shelf Get out as early as you can And don't have any kids yourself
It just gets weirder and weirder.
Are they still doing this comic? Extrapolating the rise in weirdness into 2025, it must be truly unfathomable by now.

So it was an ad.
It was a journey.
A journey that ended in an ad, well played
FWIW I don’t begrudge creators advertising their own work like this. You get a funny comic, and if you want to give him money and support him, you get more. I generally see it as a positive to promote an artist’s Patreon in the relevant communities I post in.
No I completely get it, I was just messing around. 100% support the artist and this cracked me up.
The ad we made along the way…
Keep beating them. Most likely they did the least they could.
