Like, even so. I’m not one to usually miss the subtle nuances as long as I understand the context or whatever, but I’m honestly completely lost on this one. Completely stumped. I’ve got nothing from this.

Far Side comics* aren’t very deep. They make the most sense when you don’t think about them too much. Think of the dumbest, most surface-level punchline you can think of when you read one: that’s usually the joke.
(But yeah I never found them all that funny myself, either, and I grew up with them. They’re Boomer humor for sure.)

That’s been my impression as well; I also somewhat grew up with them. About one in ten or maybe slightly more would be funny funny. Rest are 😐

I’m totally with the crew. The one time I’ve been snorkeling, it was absolutely gorgeous. The coral, the fish… I was so awestruck, I would have kept swimming to the middle of the ocean if someone hadn’t gotten my attention.
