You know this story telling is really clever, the use of the box with a car drawn on it causes the viewer to buy into the suspension of disbelief within the make believe world.

It would be a whole different vibe without that display of play and imagination. Like if it was drawn as a realistic car in a driveway instead, it would be a completely different comic.

It’s just very subtle/clever to know that’s what is needed to entice the audience into the world.

Also, a car drawn on a box when the whole comic is drawn… Like a drawing of a drawing. It’s all just very clever and well done.
