Prosecutors accuse Martinez and Ruiz of driving into and “striking the Customs and Border Protection vehicle on both the driver’s and passenger’s side” and say 10 civilian vehicles then boxed in the ICE agents.
However, attorney Christopher Parente, who’s representing Martinez and Ruiz, says new body cam footage shows agents ramming Martinez, contradicting the ICE version of events.
Parente says body cam footage shows the ICE agent aiming his assault rifle and shouting, “Do something, b—h,” moments before opening fire.
The ICE agent should have followed the law, and showed a warrant before shooting her. That way the law abiding law enforcer did not have to flee to another blue state to murder the next Martinez.
