Is this a sequel to Looper?
If he’s the type to rise to boss, then he isn’t likely to be the type to kill himself. He’d know that, and probably think NOT hiring himself would only make him stronger in the long run.
“Go ahead, you’ll only create a new timeline where you killed yourself while I live on in this one!”
So the younger one is the time traveller and has gone to the future? Staying in the future will erase the older version too won’t it?
I think the younger one is threatening to kill himself to stop the future from happening and his future self from existing. The last panel isn’t “in the future”, it’s just showing that he got the job in the present day because of the threat (technically in the future but only by a few minutes)
So the older version is the time traveller then? Why is it the “time travelling employee” when it’s the employer doing the time travelling
