This Far Side comic is from 1984, so it’s obviously much older, but it reminds me of a scene in Babylon 5 where Londo Mollari uses his tentacles to cheat at a card game by drawing additional cards from the deck.
A certain Centauri ambassador comes to mind.
It’s all fun and games until you step on his eyestalk.
