I have been chosen by two cats and I broke their trust and rejected them 😭.

I blame my mental illness but it hits home right now. I had never thought about being “chosen”. God I am an asshole

That’s how it goes. We’ve never adopted from a shelter and still managed to collect 6 cats. 2 rehomes and 4 foundlings.

My previous cat came with my house. She was a TNR’d feral cat that hung out on our front porch and was the friendliest cat I’ve ever met. We decided to let her inside one cold night and she never even tried to go back out the door.

i was thinking of putting a collar on him with a note + number attached in case he belongs to someone so they can contact me. he leaves for small amounts of time but always comes back. good thinking.

Star was the name of my best kitty ever. She was a great friend and the most wonderful fur baby anyone could ask for. Your Star is beautiful and I hope you spoil her rotten :)

That’s cool, but why did you deny yourself the pleasure of having a cat until now?

What a handsome little fella. They seem comfortable and relaxed already! Congrats on being adopted, OP!
