    Personally? I think it’s a PR op. They go there with ICE on their best behavior, maybe some speaking Italian. They’re extra nice, hand out some stuff. All to make ICE look like good guys to make Ds in America come off as lawless agressors.

    Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a sting operation. ICE comes to Italy. Doesn’t understand they have no jurisdiction. They all get arrested and thrown into jail.

    I’m seriously expecting these ICE assholes will kill at least one or two riders (most of them are less than “pure-white”) with italian nationality to, soon after, see the assholes in charge justify it somehow.

      There is precedent to “borrow” investigators and even gunmen from other orgs to provide security for the politicians and athletes (residual fear from Munich 72). DHS have apparently been used on past trips.

      Of course, that isn’t what is happening here. fuckface wants his gestapo out in force. The real question being whether he wants to attack “illegal immigrants” anywhere he goes or if he just heard that other countries get to have people with guns and he likes those people with guns.

    I know for a fact that Slovenia allows Israeli “security” personnel carrying guns in the country. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if Italy just let them.
