I got to see Luigi take the first shot stand up to a broken system. I got to see Renee Good teach us what it means to be good. I got to see Alex Pretti rage against the machine.
These arent the only stories but they are stories of my people. They are the futures folk heros.
And thats not to say others didnt come before… Martins… and Malcoms… who knows who will be next to stand up to only get chopped down. Hopefully its all of us, resoundingly, all together, because they cant keep us all.
