I think the point is that AI is wasting all those resources and can’t even work out that if one needs to wash ones car at the car wash, driving it there is required. Thousands of people are losing their jobs to AI when this is how smart it is. Fuck cars, yes - but also fuck AI.
to be fair it’s not like it’s a reasoning machine or anything, it’s just like a version of the predictive text on your phone’s keyboard but trained with more data.
AI absolutely can’t replace most jobs, as employers are learning the hard way.

It’s a question posed to LLMs, so I thought the distance was chosen basically arbitrarily. Besides, it’s not an unrealistic distance. Lots of houses don’t have a driveway, and cars are parked along the street instead, for example.

I get the proving our case perspective but… I hate that proving the case involves driving even a little more of the AI systems planet burning energy and water consumption to ask these things questions that nobody needs a computer to answer just to prove that these things are a bit shit… Just remember, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence; all the AI bros should be held to that standard.
Our collective claim that AI is kinda shit is not extraordinary, and is best proven by just walking away because AI is just not very useful.So, I tried this on several models and the lighter ones didn’t get it. But, the “heavier” models did.
