“Hey, Violet!” Charlie Brown calls as he runs up to Violet, who sits in the sandbox, playing.

He leans against the side of the sandbox: “I saw something you might be interested in…” “Oh?” she asks

He sits on the ledge of the sandbox and asks, “Have you ever seen a dogcatcher?”

She replies, “Mercy, no! And if I eer did, I’m sure I’d be frightened to death!” “Don’t you want to see one?” Charlie Brown asks, as he stands inside the sandbox.

“I don’t know…Is there really one around here?” Charlie Brown climbs out of the sandbox: “Sure…C’mon with me…”

They run along. Charlie Brown says, “There’s nothing to be scared of…”

“There, see? A dog-catcher!” Charlie Brown points. Shermy pitches a ball to Patty, who swings a bat. The ball is caught by Snoopy, wno sits behind the plate as catcher.
