    Fun fact, there’s roughly a ~4.9% that any given snowflake’s core is made of human bioaerosols (skin, hair, nostril microflora, etc.). In human-inhabited areas, that number spikes, and even more so indoors.

    While wintry conditions do affect this concentration level, it’s worth noting that the decrease in viral/bacterial content (eg. Staph, Strep, E-coli, et al) in such environments/periods is often matched by an increase in fungal particulate.

    The chance that, by catching snowflakes on your tongue you’re ingesting millions of tiiiiny human pieces… is demonstrably non-zero.
