Went surfing with some buddies down in Costa Rica decades ago. Stepping off the plane I was greeted in the airport by signs letting me know this kind of thing wasn’t tolerated there. I was impossibly disappointed with humanity that such a sign needed to exist in the first place. Of course, near the large US naval base where I lived at the time were also signs that said, “isn’t she a little young?”
If I prayed, I’d pray humanity rights itself.
