I could give a fuck less if everyone at Meta is unhappy — those same fucks have been helping the billion dollar right wing news media conglomerate win.

I’ll care about Meta employees when one of them puts a bullet in Zuck. Otherwise they can all fuck off to the deepest part of Satan’s asshole.

I’m sorry but no. a few weeks ago there was the story where Meta employees were outraged and threatening to boycott the fact their own AI was going to start training on their work and spying what they do at work. So for the crap they produce they’re perfectly ok with it training and spying on the userbase but once it starts looking inward suddenly that’s a problem?

That’s exactly the hypocrite attitude of americans who complain about Trump.
OK with terrorizing the world as long as they don’t get bothered in their fake bubble of democracy.

Who says they’re okay with it? Have you never worked in your life for a company you didn’t agree with? I have. Pretty much every single one of them. You’re blaming individual workers who are selling their labor instead of the higher ups who actually make the decisions or the systems that enable and reinforce them.

    Compare Cisco:

In a blog post yesterday, Robbins was quick to boast that Cisco’s fiscal Q3 2026 earnings saw revenue increase 12 percent year-over-year to $15.8 billion. He told employees that he and the rest of Cisco’s executive leadership team “could not be prouder of the growth you have all delivered for Cisco.”

But that pride could apparently not save the company’s successful employees from unemployment.

“We are making changes today that will result in the reduction of our overall workforce in Q4 by fewer than 4,000 jobs, representing less than 5 percent of our total employee base,” he wrote.

Cisco announces record revenue and 4,000 layoffs in the same day

At this point in the story, we’re seeing people lose their jobs to AI not because it can replace them, but because companies want to spend more money on AI.
