What he did in the past is heavy, it’s difficult to forgive, but we still need to learn how to measure redemption properly; we can’t hold grudges forever. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep an eye on Platner if he wins. The moment he begins to show us that he lied, the people should bring justice and stop him asap. We just have to normalize that healthy and obligatory level of aggression we need as a society to be able to put corruption in jail as soon as it shows its face, before it corrupts its surroundings.
