1# unpopular but totally cool lonely main character
2# gets powers around puberty brought over by stress
3# turns out she belongs to an amazing alternative world
4# amazing alternative world has issues and only she can fix them
5# she fixes them and now she is popular and belongs in BOTH worlds… queue the feels, move on
Couldn’t have said it better, I know Disney usually don’t make great movies anymore but I still thought they were above making a generic YA fantasy Narnia knockoff. It just gives me straight to DVD vibes.
I’m sure it will make a gazillion dollars regardless. Kids eat this stuff up.
