Furiosa was amazing. I cannot believe that movie bombed.
I thought it was good, but it didn’t hold up to Fury Road. The practical effects in Fury Road were much more impressive than the CGI in Furiosa. I am aware that those effects were wildly dangerous and led to multiple injuries. So not saying they should have attempted it again, but it does impact the finished product. Also I think Charlize Theron was more convincing in the role of Furiosa, and it is hard not to compare the two actresses since it is supposed to be the same person.
I agree.on those points.
A counterpoint to the other reply, I felt like it was trying to simply cover too much ground … I know Miller wanted it to be an epic, but it didn’t feel like it had the gravitas of one.
I loved a lot of it, and could go for maybe an edited version with a bit less CGI OE something (I don’t know, I’m no editor, lol)
