I bought the day one FF15 edition alongside the film because I was really hyped, never again, when it was lunched in PC it has I don’t know how many DLCs and updates that barely resembled the vanilla version. I will just wait until is released in PC to play it.

So at least a year out from the sounds of it. Maybe more. Does anyone remember the turnaround for FFXV?

I mean, the sooner Squeenix wants my money, the sooner they’ll bring it out on Steam. If exclusivity deals are worth more to them than people buying the game, best of luck to them and I’ll buy their game several years from now when it’s on sale for less than $30.

I’ve decided I’m gonna play through all the Final Fantasy games in order, finally, so I was gonna have to wait anyway.

This is my plan. It’s gonna take a while but I plan on grabbing the Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster bundle on Steam when the summer sale starts and just go from there.

I even kinda wanna play Mystic Quest

I have a soft spot for Mythic Quest because it was my first FF from when I was young.

I still don’t own FF7R as I never got into the original FF7 (started with FF8 as a kid and never went back to it). Is it worth picking up without the nostalgia?

I wouldn’t recommend playing the remake without playing the og, dirge of cerberus and crisis core and watching advent children, kinda required to do before playing the remake, remake is more of a sequel than a straight remake. Also also you might end up not loving the remake after doing all that depending on how you feel about cc, dirge and advent children. So…yeah.

Thanks for the reply! I definitely don’t have time in my life these days to go through all of that. Might just sit patiently and wait for the PC release of 16, or try my hand at 15 again. I’ve started it a couple of times but never get all that far before another game distracts me

@dvdnet90 I was excited for this game until I heard Yoshi tell why there were no dark skinned characters. It seemed like a particularly ruthless decision.

The western media ‘attacked’ the devs about this as if there’s malicious intent which is not. This is why I don’t like western view, demanding we follow yours but not ours.
