Keen eyed observers will note that although the hand made sign says that they are reserving this parking spot for memorial day, in fact it is always reserved for Veterans anyway.
Is being a boot like being a service dog? Do I need to show my papers when parking or can I just say I’m a veteran and tell whoever is asking to fuck off?
You can park in them. I do it all the time, and nobody ever asks me about it.
All you have to do is look up the MOS number or whatever it’s called for some really boring military job like logistics, public affairs, or some other random bullshit that no-one is going to bother verifying. Stealing valour is easy and everyone should do it for the perks, only dumbasses that actually want the “respect” that comes with being a troop impersonate seals and rangers. Be smart, claim to be the regimental prophylactic supply sergeant or something, and park in whichever veterans spot you want
I was MOS 42R. Thank me for my service.
lmao… i love that. Thank me for my service!
A kid I went to high school with joined the navy and was gone for 4 years. I left the town immediately after high school but he reached out to me to tell me he was back from his adventures on the high seas and went back to our high school in full uniform just to walk around and get his thank yous for his service. He was also quite upset that he didn’t get many thank yous but did get a lot of weird looks.

Yeah, it’s a pretty douchy thing to behold really.
ROTC kids are the biggest fuckin losers and it’s really funny that they get shit on at basic of they so much as mention it
🎺🎺🎺
I specifically park in the military service spots.
And then a residential monster truck adorned in punisher stickers flattens the entire display
I park in these veteran spots all the time. I served in the drug war and the class war and the posting wars and the meme wars
tyfys
Shit like this is just virtue signaling but for da troopz.
The fuckin lemon lmfao

The symbolic meal is a lemon and some salt. They came up with a whole ritual for their fake bullshit.
The POW/MIA Missing Man Table ceremony is a dignified and solemn moment in many formal dinners and other occasions.
There have been many different narratives written for the ceremony, but the symbolism is quite constant. It involves a table, usually set off to the side, with a single chair.
The table is set with a white tablecloth, a single candle, a book of faith (optional), an inverted glass, and a single red rose in a vase, around which is tied a red or yellow ribbon.

When I saw this, I stood in the parking lot saluting the flag for two hours. God bless America.
just park there and be like “I am a veteran of the War on Terror, Operation Northwoods. My role is still classified.”
Celebrating veterans by luring them into parking surrounded by tripping hazards they can’t see from their lifted suburban assault vehicles.
no no this is for the DEAD boots, not for the maimed and crippled ones who are lucky enough to be homeless back in the land of the free.
5 bucks says this dork saluted the “memorial”
The astroturf is a nice touch.
I can’t decide if it would be funnier to park a Prius on top of it or a fuckoff Ford F-9000 Kidmulcher
free flowers to take home
Being able to die for capitalists is a form of blessing to people who worship money.
love the idea of some 90 year old veteran cursing dead soldiers because they took his parking spot
I thought this was a drive-thru memorial thing, something I would be unsurprised if the USA had

I hope someone parks their giant ass pickup truck there and destroys it. Gods know there isn’t any shortage of them in that damn city.
