Thank you, I haven’t done the kapton tape yet but hairspray did the trick for my first couple of prints.

Money tree, I’m planning to scale up the same print and run it again once I get filament in a color I like better.

I hope that’s what my daughter wants out of this because it’s what I can provide for now.

I see your point on patience, the biggest reason I want to fix the v3 and let my daughter have the other two is automatic bed leveling. Doing it manually sounds like a chore.

The trouble with it is, it’s secured to the SD card adapter with conductive tape. I think the tape is losing its adhesion and I don’t know if I want to take a stab at soldering the ribbon cable to the adapter instead.

I should retire in 23 more years but the truth of the matter is I’m going to work until the day I die, probably at the same hospital where I currently work. Maybe I’ll eventually be a nurse but when I’m too old to do patient care I’ll stay on as a sitter until I croak or go senile.
