I prefer silence, but had to get a white noise machine to help drown out the neighbors. Nothing crazy, I’m just sensitive and grumpy.

QualifiedKittento cats@lemmy.world•Advice: Fancy robot catbox stinks more than analog!English4·2 days agoWhat are you feeding them? A friend of mine was complaining about extra stinky poops a while back, and some dietary changes made a huge difference in the smell. Doesn’t explain why this box is smellier, but could be an alternative solution to your problem.
2 eggshells of water
What a random measurement! Does that mean just half the shell, full of water, twice? I realize precision here is probably unnecessary, but my brain is just really struggling!
I was so confused, trying to figure out why anyone would want to grind up Smarties on their pizza.
I also used to let my cat hide in the back seat until someone reminded me that if the vehicle has to stop suddenly or is involved in a collision, the cat could go flying. It’s much safer for them and for you for them to be in a carrier, and the carrier buckled in, or at least wedged in somewhere.

I recently had a coworker who would frequently get an error message while completing their time card. The message was slightly cryptic, something like “invalid cost center”, but no indication (in the message) of which line(s). This happened so often, that when they would call me to complain that they were getting an error, I usually already knew what error they were getting, but for some reason, they could never remember the steps to find & correct it and had to call me every time.
Ahhh… Yeah, I’m not big on ice cream or milk (but love cheese, which it seems they don’t sell), so that would explain why I’m only vaguely aware of the name.
QualifiedKittento Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•A growing number of americans don't read newspapers. They get their news from online influencers. The right dominates the online ecosystem.English1·19 days agoYeah, but that may not count as an “online show” since the full episodes aren’t available on the platforms they were looking at.

I watch the show (although via sources that still don’t “count”), but had no clue he has a podcast.

It seems I’ve lived most of my life in the small part of the world where they distribute, so I’ve definitely seen the name on the store shelves often. Still had to look it up though, because who actually pays attention to that? Haha.
Well, according to one doctor I saw early on in my quest for help, people with ADHD don’t get depressed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I wouldn’t say treatment for ADHD completely eliminated any depression, but it has helped some… When ADHD isn’t interfering with my life quite as much, I have a little bit less to feel depressed about.
Maybe I’m just too high, but I’m a bit annoyed that her soccer teammates are such mean girls. Like, I know teenage girls are stupid mean, but that’s gotta be pretty tough for her to have such judgemental “friends”.
“No show” socks have been a thing for quite some time, so…?
Whenever I’ve purchased a phone from Swappa, I’ve used the message/questions feature to ask the seller to confirm the bootloader is unlockable. You might have to explain how to check, but they’ve always checked and added a photo confirming before I bought.
