I used to live in Amish country. The hardware store and the wholesale store had horse parking.
3·15 days agoThey know they’ll lose the lawsuits, but the profits they make in the meantime are higher than the losses they take paying for the lawsuits. There should be bigger consequences for gaming the courts like that.

1·18 days agoOh absolutely ridiculous idea, agreed. I’d never want to work for them, but I do love getting free stuff.
I wonder if it had to be a tattoo related to the company, or if the artist had a flash sheet with other designs, too… If he was a decent artist and I had options, I’d totally walk away with a free tattoo and never interview for that company.
8·18 days agoIt’s better than the plastic sitting in a landfill or the ocean. What else are we supposed to do with the plastic waste we already have?
I do like that they’re made with plastic waste, though. I love upcycling projects.

I’ve never sold any of my old games. I still have them all. I also still buy new ones. They’re all good and I play them all. Sometimes older games are better, sometimes newer ones.
1·23 days agoIt’s not quite the same in Canada, though. Even when we used to have a different minimum wage for tipped workers, it was only a couple dollars per hour less than regular minimum wage. As far as I know, servers are now paid the same minimum wage as everyone else here. I’ve seen people say that server minimum wage in the US can be like $2 an hour.
4·25 days agoYeah I don’t understand this obsession with keeping everyone on 40 hour weeks. If there aren’t enough jobs for everyone to work 40 hours a week, then just cut hours and employ everyone who wants to and is able to work. Pay the same. There’s enough money floating out there if we stop letting sociopaths hoard it all.

It’s not gooey. Texture is stiff, but the flavour is really rich.

100000% worth it, in my opinion, but not everyone likes sweet stuff as much as I do.
Not necessarily. My child did something like this once. She was totally fine until it was time to strap her in. Then she completely freaked out and I had to hold her in with the seatbelt on while she screamed like she was being stabbed. It was a great experience.
