I don’t care what people say, the most important historical event in my lifetime was the discovery and release of the lost Steely Dan tape containing The Second Arrangement

If you know what season it’s in, you can try looking up the soundtrack for that season and seeing what sticks out as a possible answer.
Copied from an old comment of mine:
Re: bots
If feasible, I think the best option would be an instance that functions similarly to how Reddit’s now defunct r/BotDefense operated and instances which want to filter out bots would federate with that. Essentially, if there is an account that is suspect of being a bot, users could submit that account to this bot defense server and an automated system would flag obvious bots whereas less obvious bots would have to be inspected manually by informed admins/mods of the server. This flagging would signal to the federated servers to ban these suspect/confirmed bot accounts. This instance would also be able to flag when a particular server is being overrun by bots and advise other servers to temporarily defederate.
If you are hosting a Lemmy instance, I suggest requiring new accounts to provide an email address and pass a captcha. I’m not informed enough with the security side of things to suggest more, but https://lemmy.world/c/selfhosted or the admins of large instances may be able to provide more insight for security.
If possible, an improved search function for Lemmy, or cross-media content in general, would be helpful. Since this medium still has a relatively small userbase, most bot and spam content is lifted from other sites. Being able to track where bots’ content is coming from is extremely helpful to conclude that there is no human curating their posts. This is why I’m wary of seemingly real users on Lemmy who do binge spam memes or other non-OC. Being able to search for a string of text, search for image sources/matching images, being able to search for strings of text within an image, and being able to find original texts that a bot has rephrased are on my wishlist.
Re: AI content
AFAIK, the best option is just to have instance/community rules against it if you’re concerned about it.
The best defense against both is education and critical examination of what you see online.
There are some other helpful comments on that post as well.

Squorlple@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Did YouTube just disable video playback for people using UBlock or is it just me?English2·5 days agoYep, both that one and another adblocker I use for a few days now. I tried yet another plug-in called something like Ad Block for YouTube that works with blocking the non-video ads but I’ve still been getting video ads with it that only play the ad’s audio with a plain black video screen for the length of the ad; spamming refresh on the page tends to bypass the video ad. Hopefully the plug-ins will adapt soon.
This reads like the author thinks The Avengers (or some other hero team) are actually called Marvel. I don’t think they mean to say they want Marvel to release media based on these villain characters. Possibly engagement bait or maybe they’re just too lazy to pay attention.
It’s from Andor
I’m omitting the phrase “It’s actually incorrect because” from this discussion since it’s not relevant.
“[T]hey would probably be fired at from their behind”
“be fired at” is a transitive verb phrase, so there are necessarily two related entities in this scenario: the firer and the target, the latter of which we know is “they”. Simply saying “be fired at from behind” could indicate that the firer is aiming backwards as a trick shot since it is ambiguous if “behind” refers to that of the target or if it instead refers to the act of firing; most people could figure out the meaning in context, but I prefer to avoid asking that from my audience. Since “be fired at from their behind” uses “their” as an appositive to refer to the entity or entities yet mentioned in the sentence, and the only one yet mentioned was the target (“they”), this clarifies that “behind” must refer to that of the target.
It’s also commonly, but not absolutely, considered grammatically incorrect to end a sentence with a preposition. “from behind” ends with a preposition, whereas “from their behind” ends with a noun (“behind” not meaning their buttocks but rather that which is located to their rear).
I was trying to get the comment posted before a particular time constraint, so I didn’t have time to locate a word that singularly refers to the area located to one’s rear.
You’re welcome to consult !english@lemmy.ca about this.
Yes? That’s why I called it a bot and said I participated simply because I had to for the application
