Once the war in Ukraine started (I mean the second, full scale phase) the Polish speaking internet was full of support for Ukraine. The “outraged UPA victims” needed a few days to recall that they hated Ukraine.

They can focus on one place, attack when you are the weakest, take control of that one place (city, village or even a building) and even if it costs them a lot, you have no way to punish it. The “primary” enemy is not the only enemy. And for each European country it might be different. It’s still important to have a strong army and unity. If we are weak or divided, even if russia is on its knees, you can’t be sure that another dictator won’t try to take a part of Europe, like Greenland for example… I heard dictators like islands.

I am old, I have used windows for around 20 years. I am also a geek. I tried Mac OS a long time ago - not geeky enough and the hardware was too expensive for me back then.
Tried Linux several times. It was fun, but I had too many issues, up until now.
In my opinion if you plot user friendliness over time for Linux and windows, the Linux is going up on the friendliness axis, slowly but steadily. Windows on the other hand… Goes somewhere. Every good idea MS devs have is countered by 3 terrible (for users) from the marketing department.
I want to be the owner of my own PC. I want to control everything, windows was good enough a few years ago, but it is not anymore, the cloud integration plus AI bulshit, plus bloatware.

What I am saying that those families got 100 times more vocal a few days after the war started and the original post is about the russian effort to spread the hate. If you dig deep enough you will always find someone who was hurt by a neighbour. The trick is to amplify their message when convenient.
