Not at all. They should find an alternative that cannot be just unplugged on demand.

Unless they sort out their funding (find someone that is not Google for majority of their money), people shouldn’t care.

Today I saw a post on a gardening instance self hosted by someone, which contains only one gardening community.

It was small and OP said thanks to the few frequent visitors and traffic from other instances accounts but they are shutting it down since someone posted (I assume) CSAM material on their instance. Doesn’t want to risk it of course so a nice community now has to leave.

Bad intentions won’t bring you well done though, only by chance. I’d much rather rely on a person with good intention who will fail and learn from it, and I can assume their intention will be good the next time, more likely to produce good result.

This saying you mentioned only undermines confidence, learning and will to attempt.

Look up Andrew Huberman on YouTube with meditation surely you’ll find something from him. Solid talks on behavior, brain, body etc… just skip through promotions they’re marked on the timeline, can be quite annoying but well worth it for the information he provides
