7·8 days agoFeels like it, yeah. I suppose there are quite a few hoops to jump through before it’s ready for prime time. Every country has their own systems, interfaces and whatnot.

This. I’ve never heard of spelling bees outside of the US. I remember learning about it though movies/tv, and thought it was very odd because of course you know how to spell words, otherwise, how would one write.
But yeah, English definitely has more words that can throw you off.

5·15 days agoIf your compressor doesn’t have a dehumidifier you risk blasting a bit of water, too, and with the pressure/velocity it can reach places that won’t dry out quickly.

I’m thinking there were one or two particularly annoying coworkers who triggered this invention.
If people could just be kind and turn off the server when they leave.
If you close a tab, get a prompt; “it looks like you’re leaving this website, would you like to power down the server(s)?”
It feels like that’s very often the family’s go-to whenever there’s trouble - involving more/innocent parties.
