I’ve only played the first remake so far, but I do prefer the original game. The remake is gorgeous and definitely not bad by any means, but it adds so much unnecessary padding to what was originally a perfectly well-paced game. And the story beats they added mostly don’t improve on the writing of the original.

I don’t think so. That would be a hard thing to enforce and rather pointless. Comparing it to other internet regulations like the GDPR, it’s not illegal to use a website that doesn’t adhere to it. That said, with the amount of stupidity we tend to see in politics, who knows what some countries might do.
It might happen for some instances, but I think if some countries start requiring fediverse instances to do this, most users will switch to instances hosted in countries that don’t require it.
I guess you could close the threads after the day is over. For me personally, it wouldn’t matter either way, as I never use the active/top feeds to browse. They don’t seem too useful on a “small” platform like Lemmy, where they’ll remain static for quite a long time.

You’re right, but neither is Github. You don’t want your proprietary code on some corporate platform. A self-hosted git server is the way to go for that.
The strength of platforms like Codeberg and Github lies in having a large userbase who can access your project to post issues, contribute code etc. No point in using them for things like private repos.

Habe auch eine Vermutung von wem die Angriffe ausgehen, aber mangels Beweisen schreibe ich dazu mal nichts weiter.
