I don’t get it. Are they suppose to look similar with the filters applied? I see both dresses underneath the filter, very clearly. On the left is the same black and blue dress with a yellow filter effect, on the right is a yellow and white dress with a very clear blue filter on top.

Absolutely not. If she still thinks that at 93, we know it’s already a lost cause.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Am I broken, or am I saying the quiet part out loud?

The Paul Brothers were an instant “Nope” for me. I know a lot of people that loved to watch them, but i just saw cruel and uncaring people. Steven crowder also rubbed me the wrong way. For someone that proclaims “change my mind”, he didn’t really change his mind, ever.
Pretty much every twitch-variety streamer also gives me a feeling of discomfort. A feeling of “why are you even streaming? You don’t seem to do anything except screaming for attention”
How much exposure do you think a spoiled English speaker has to other languages?
Learning a skill when you don’t have to takes discipline. Questionable newsworthyness though, like all news about monarchy.
The best parts about the show is that people with clearly different values and personalities can still be friends. But i guess it hits differently for echo chambers.
Suicide bait is fine as long as it is cute?

Dunno. I worked in a firstline where everyone was a gymguy. One was a competitive bodybuilder.
The other missing trope here is the business casual guy.
Or the industrial IT with the only non-dirty ppe on the site.
The amount of “NO U” in this thread is hilarious.

A Boring Dystopia@lemmy.world•Billionaire CEO: Work-Life Balance Is For The Weak

I wonder what the percentage rate of psychopatic traits are in CEO’s compared to the general public.
Found this article that refers to numbers in the 20th percentile. Like prisoners.

This reads as someone that has never done a bit of physical labor in their entire life and just wants their Linux to be left alone.
Excuse you for trying to put your emotional garbage on somebody else that is just having a good time.
So, you don’t actually do anything interesting except the thing that happen to you by chance?
How about telling an interesting fact about yourself?
You’re right. Linus isn’t an ordinary user, and still he experiences trouble.

Holy shit.
