Don’t be a dick.
Don’t be a dick.
What is drug culture like? I’ve read alcohol use and abuse are very common but have no idea about anything else. Do you guys have weed? Cocaine? MDMA? Opioids?
Potentially yes, if you use existing IP to make music, doing it with a computer isn’t going to change anything about how the law works. It does get super complicated and there’s ambiguity depending on the specifics, but mostly if you do it a not obvious way and no one knows how you did it you’re going to be fine, anything other than that you will potentially get sued, even if whatever you did was a legally permissible use of the IP. Rightsholders generally hate when anyone who isn’t them tries to make money off their IP regardless of how they try to do it or whether they have a right to do it unless they paid for a license.
That feels categorically different unless AI has legal standing as a person. We’re talking about training LLMs, there’s not anything more than people using computers going on here.
Where does the training data come from seems like the main issue, rather than the training itself. Copying has to take place somewhere for that data to exist. I’m no fan of the current IP regime but it seems like an obvious problem if you get caught making money with terabytes of content you don’t have a license for.
You are thinking of someone else, this is the guy who writes deranged children’s books where Trump is the king.
More progressive overall but he has a history of making anti-gay statements.
That does not look at all like a safe way to transport a puppy. I would expect that the puppy is miserable and could be easily injured so this doesn’t really seem like “aww” to me, it’s more like someone is potentially torturing and injuring a puppy because they think it looks cute that way.
Mad Max once climate change really gets cooking.
Car camping is its own thing with its own distinct culture from backpackers who hike out into the wilderness to camp.
Based off my limited experience, Wayfair furniture is intentionally designed to be as frustrating as possible to assemble.
I used to live across the street from a relatively popular tourist attraction and would occasionally get tourists standing in front of my windows and commenting on things in my apartment. Once my girlfriend and I were eating breakfast in front of an open window and someone tried talking to us about how expensive something was in our apartment. Besides that the only regular rudeness was groups acting like they own the sidewalk. Usually its large families but I do remember one time what looked like a Russian oligarch trophy wife surrounded by an entourage of stereotypical body guards that had people swearing at them because they were not letting anyone else use the sidewalk as they headed for the tourist attraction.
EDIT: Sorry, thought I was replying to someone else originally.
There have been recessions with less than two quarters of negative growth, it is not a requirement. The NBER uses a variety of indicators, there can be recessions lasting only a few months.
That’s not actually the official definition. It’s more complicated than that, and it’s not the Fed but the National Bureau of Economic Research: https://www.nber.org/research/business-cycle-dating/business-cycle-dating-procedure-frequently-asked-questions
That isn’t really the definition though. Real income can fall in a recession but it’s not necessarily a recession just because incomes fell. Real income can increase or decrease both during a recession and not during a recession. It’s a lot more complicated than “when your income declines there is a recession”.
Assuming I am physically in the same place, I will fall to my death. If I somehow survive the fall I would be severely injured and alone in the wilderness. Within a few days I would probably die of either my injuries, dehydration, or hypothermia.
No. Haggling has zero appeal and makes me feel like an asshole. I want a set price that is predefined, and I want the purchase process to have minimal friction. I don’t want to have to argue with someone when I buy things.
Increasing, but I think still unlikely. I think the most likely scenario for that to happen is he loses his primary but stays in as an independent.
