I mean, of course. However, if you can, this is what I’ve found works really well.

I’ve personally found it more reliable to purchase a domain, use an email host, and then set up a catch-all. Then you can just use best.buy@dot.com, netflix@dot.com, and so forth on the fly.

And then if necessary to combat spam, just set a sieve filter to turn off the faucet on whatever email you need to.
