minus-square@scvlinkEnglish9•10 months agoIn the US a lot of workers don’t get paid if they don’t show up to work because they have no paid time off. In the US they often combine sick days and vacation days, so if you miss work while sick, you are using your vacation days, which are very limited.

When I feel ill I wear a mask at work or when I have to get food but otherwise I try to stay home.
Why would you go to work if you’re feeling ill??
