Exactly. That’s why simply regulating capitalism won’t work. It has been regulated before, and eventually, little by little, greed wins out, politicians take bribes to lower regulations, and this tension raises again until we earn back what we lost. Rinse and repeat. It’s not sustainable.
Capitalism is just shit, but lots of people have been brainwashed through conditioning their entire lives, and it takes some intelligence to actually reflect on your beliefs. Plus, companies/governments have monopolies on violence/force that they use to suppress ‘undesirables.’ America kept invading places because they were afraid an alternative, better economy could work (actually confirmed by CIA). Yet so many people conveniently ignore this or act like it is unrelated to the matter. It’s just a lack of education + culture of ignorance/conformism that lets this shit continue uncontested.
