Probably something like claiming the US owes them their taxes back. If we give them money, they’ll ask again later, if they don’t they’ll send peasants to “liberate” stuff from blue states. That’s the thing about secessionists: they think they’re the only ones who can claim “rightful ownership” of… anything. Women? Minorities? Taxes? Land? They’re all just property, and as such, ought to be theirs.
