Patric Hornqvist is hanging up his skates. The 36-year-old winger who won back to back Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and 2017 confirmed on Wednesday he's retiring after 15 NHL seasons to Swedish publication Sportbladet.

    As a Capitals fan I’m glad to see the back of him… because he was an absolute nightmare to have to play against and he killed us so many times.

    Did you know he was picked dead last in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators, the same draft where Sidney Crosby went first overall?

    He then went on to score the cup winning goal with that very same Sidney Crosby against who else? His former team the Nashville Predators.
