Stop buying those stupid sisal rope scratching posts. What happens when you cut a rope? It breaks, the thing is fucked. Sound familiar?

Get a scratching post made out of woven sisal. It will cost 40 dollars but last as long as like 10000 rope posts

You’re welcome for this knowledge zane

My cat loves to play with the loose strings. This would prevent him from having loose strings.

A responsible cat owner prevents their cat from having access to loose strings because they can get stuck in their digestive tracts and cause severe injury

Technically they can still break sisal ropes, so I guess all ropes are bad if you truly want to be a responsible cat owner.

They can break it, it’s just stronger and would last longer. Seagrass would probably be better. It’s cheaper, stronger, and alergy free.

dawg i’ve had this scratching post for 2 cats for literally 3 years now and it’s still like 90% new, i know what I’m about and you’re wrong. Persist with terrible scratching posts that cost 40% but last <3 months if you want, I guess I’m built different

Dawg I’ve had an amount of cats I cannot quantify for a number of years far greater than your own so I know what I’m talking about. Persist with what makes you happy, but know there are options beyond your current competition. I guess I’m just manufactured differently.

Idk what “i’m a cat owner” brings to an argument you’re objectively wrong about but go off hoss, keep buying rope scratchers that break when you could buy something that doesn’t, because it’s literally manufactured to not do that

                  Btw

there are options beyond your current competition

jesse-wtf what are you even on

an amount of cats I cannot quantify for a number of years far greater than your own

P.s. i haven’t “had two cats for three years” btw, referring to the post, which has lasted 30x longer than a shitty sisal rope scratching post would have. Sorry you need me to tell you how to read
