Really good, highly educated guess! I can see why you’d pick that age.
I’m 35. While most of my peers are looking to advance or had their kids recently, my wife and I have no desire to have children and my career has reached an advanced stage just this year following a job change, hence no specific plans at the moment as this is pretty much where I want to be.
You know what. I initially was thinking mid 30s before i asked you that final question. You were initially giving off vibes of someone who has been working a security research job for quite a few years. Coupled with the fact that you need a decent level of expertise and experience to work in security research - at least from the quick googling i did - i assumed you had at least a master’s degree.
With the average master’s degree finishing age being around 28 and a few years of experience, i was going to guess mid 30s, but that last question threw me off. Seems like you’re living a pretty fulfilled life at such a young age though, so that’s good.
It might be some time I spent growing up living near a Buddhist temple that could’ve affected my current focus on being content that may come to others later in life.
I do have a masters, but I was able to get into the field early by switching between education and working. It took me much longer but it played out nicely.
That was fun. I hope you can use this to fine-tune your future age guessing skills.
