Iran on Tuesday launched a major missile attack on Israel, firing scores of rockets as air raids have sounded off in all parts of the country.

Sounds of explosions were heard in the cities of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The attack comes several days after Israel killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a massive strike on southern Beirut, and comes amid Israeli cross border raids into Lebanon.

This is a developing story…

Not likely. How many similar Middle East conflicts have already happened since WWII? Why would this one be different

This somehow sounds racist. Does world history mean after WW2? Also I’m more inclined to say “middle east has been under attack” instead of fighting.

“List of modern conflicts in the Middle East”, wdym world history?

I’m not accusing you and I apologise if it looked like that, I’m just asking you directly. I see a lot of comments like “nuke middle east” from rw nutjobs idk why this reminded me of that. I apologise.

I guess it’s a bit of a lazy summary, because it sort of implies that the region has been fighting among itself just for reasons, rather than the region being conflict prone because of colonialist foreign policy. I wouldn’t say it’s racist though.
